Distress to body, losses at home and in agricultural production, losses in business dealings, antagonism, or adverse relations with servants (employees) and the king (government), separation from kinsmen and hot temperament, will be the evil effects in the Antardasa of Mars, if he be posited in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th from the Ascendant, be associated with or aspected by malefics in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th from the lord of the Dasa (the Moon).

(i) मंगल यदि लग्न या दशापति से 8, 12 में हो, पापयुक्त या शत्रुदृष्ट हो तो शरीरकष्ट होता है । घर की हानि, विवाद में पराजय, सेवकों में कलह, राजा से विरोध, अपने बन्धुओं से वियोग, कठोर वचन बोलने का स्वभाव होता है । (ii) यदि मंगल 2, 7 भावेश हो या अष्टमेश होकर अष्टम में हो तो विशेष शरीर कष्ट होता है । शान्ति के लिए विद्वान् ब्राह्मण का सत्कार करना चाहिए ।
