If any portion of the text be found to be omitted in the course of its communication by a teacher to his pupil or its transcription by a copyist, the learned reader should leave off all feelings of jealousy and get the same rectified by a reference to persons well-versed in the science. Further if there should be found in the text any errors, imperfections, omissions due to my laches, the learned readers will kindly make the necessary corrections and supply the needful.

यदि गुरु द्वारा शिष्य को सम्प्रेषण के दौरान अथवा लेखक द्वारा प्रतिलेखन के दौरान पाठ का कोई भाग छूटा हुआ पाया जाए, तो विद्वान पाठक को सभी ईर्ष्या-भाव त्यागकर उसे विज्ञान में निपुण व्यक्तियों के संदर्भ से सुधरवा लेना चाहिए। इसके अतिरिक्त यदि पाठ में मेरी असावधानी के कारण कोई त्रुटि, अपूर्णता, छूट पाई जाए, तो विद्वान पाठक कृपया आवश्यक सुधार करें और जो आवश्यक हो उसे पूरा करें।
