Of the effects that have been described till now in the case of male horoscopes, all those that may be found (in female horoscopes) suitable to females should be declared as applicable to them alone; the rest should be ascribed to their husbands. The death of the husband is to be deduced through the 8th place (from the Lagna or the Moon whichever is strong). Matters relating to her appearance, beauty, etc., should be determined from the Lagna and the sign occupied by the Moon. It is from the 7th place (from the Lagna or the Moon whichever is stronger) that her welfare (happiness) and the (nature of the) husband should be ascertained.

पुरुष कुण्डलियों के मामले में अब तक जो फल वर्णित किए गए हैं, उनमें से जो भी (स्त्री कुण्डलियों में) स्त्रियों के लिए उपयुक्त पाए जाएँ, उन्हें ही उन पर लागू घोषित किया जाना चाहिए; शेष को उनके पतियों पर आरोपित किया जाना चाहिए। पति की मृत्यु का अनुमान 8वें स्थान (लग्न अथवा चन्द्र, जो भी बलवान हो, से) से लगाया जाना चाहिए। उसके रूप, सौन्दर्य आदि से सम्बन्धित विषय लग्न और चन्द्र द्वारा अधिष्ठित राशि से निर्धारित किए जाने चाहिए। 7वें स्थान (लग्न अथवा चन्द्र, जो भी बलवान हो, से) से उसका कल्याण (सुख) और पति का स्वरूप ज्ञात किया जाना चाहिए।
