The parts of the body of Kalapurusha beginning with Mesha are respectively (1) the head, (2) the face, (3) the neck, upper portion of the chest and the shoulders, (4) the heart, (5) the stomach, (6) the navel, (7) the intestines, (8) the private parts, (9) the thighs, (10) the joints, (11) the calves and (12) the feet. Mesha and other zodiacal signs in the heavens consist of nine quarters of stars reckoning from Aswini. Rasi, Kshetra, Griha, Riksha, Bha and Bhavana are synonymous terms.
