If strong planets capable of leading to asceticism be obscured by the Sun's rays, the persons born will have great reverence for ascetics, though they may not become initiated into the holy order. If the planets referred to above be overcome in planetary war and aspected by other planets, the person concerned will seek admission into the holy order without success.

यदि संन्यास की ओर ले जाने में सक्षम बलवान ग्रह सूर्य-किरणों से अस्त हों, तो जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्तियों में संन्यासियों के प्रति अत्यन्त श्रद्धा होगी, यद्यपि वे स्वयं संन्यास-दीक्षा में प्रविष्ट नहीं हो सकते। यदि उपर्युक्त ग्रह ग्रह-युद्ध में पराजित हों और अन्य ग्रहों से दृष्ट हों, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति संन्यास-दीक्षा में प्रवेश का प्रयास करेगा किन्तु सफलता नहीं मिलेगी।
