When the Sun and Mars occupy respectively the 10th and the 4th house at a person's birth, his death will be caused by the fall of a stone from the top of a mountain. When Saturn, the Moon and Mars are in the 4th, the 7th and the 10th houses respectively, he will die by falling into a well. When the Sun and the Moon are in Virgo and are aspected by malefic planets, death should be traced to the evil deeds of his own relations; (or he may commit suicide owing to differences with them). If the rising sign be a dual Rasi, and the Sun and the Moon occupy it, he will perish by being drowned in water.

जब किसी व्यक्ति के जन्म पर सूर्य और मंगल क्रमशः 10वें और 4थे भाव में अधिष्ठित हों, तो उसकी मृत्यु पर्वत-शिखर से पत्थर गिरने से होगी। जब शनि, चन्द्र और मंगल क्रमशः 4थे, 7वें और 10वें भावों में हों, तो वह कुएँ में गिरकर मरेगा। जब सूर्य और चन्द्र कन्या में हों और पाप ग्रहों से दृष्ट हों, तो मृत्यु को उसके अपने स्वजनों के दुष्कर्मों से जोड़ा जाना चाहिए; (अथवा उनके साथ मतभेद के कारण वह आत्महत्या कर सकता है)। यदि उदित राशि द्विस्वभाव राशि हो, और सूर्य तथा चन्द्र उसमें अधिष्ठित हों, तो वह जल में डूबकर नष्ट हो जाएगा।
