In agreement to the writings of previous authors [the author defends including these four yogas]: though planets might not be all simultaneously in the 4 Kendras (which seems improbable since Mercury and Venus cannot be far from the Sun), the yogas Vajra, Yava, Kamala and Vapi are still treated as canonical, because the principles by which they operate hold whenever such positions arise, and the descriptions enable the student to recognize them.
