When the Moon occupies a decanate owned by Mars (Vrischika Drekkana) and benefic planets are in the 2nd and the 11th houses from the Lagna, the issue will be a (serpent) reptile; or a child will be born with a navel cord round its body. Again, when the rising sign is that of a malefic planet and is in the decanate of Mars and benefic planets are in the 2nd and 11th bhavas, the person born will have a cord coiled round his body.

जब चन्द्र मंगल के द्रेष्काण (वृश्चिक द्रेष्काण) में हो और लग्न से द्वितीय तथा एकादश में शुभ ग्रह हों, तो जातक (साँप जैसा) सरीसृप होगा; या किसी शिशु का जन्म नाभिरज्जु उसके शरीर के इर्द-गिर्द लिपटे हुए होगा। पुनः जब लग्न पापी ग्रह की राशि हो और मंगल के द्रेष्काण में हो, और द्वितीय तथा एकादश भावों में शुभ ग्रह हों, तो जातक के शरीर पर नाभिरज्जु लिपटी होगी।
