But the Lagna gives its Ayus corresponding to the character of its rising Navamsa, i.e., as many years, months, etc., as the number of the Rasi owning the rising Navamsa indicates. If the Lagna be strong, it gives in addition as many years as there are Rasis in the figure denoting the Lagna. In this Satyayurdaya, the reduction due to the presence of a malefic planet in the Lagna does not find place. The years assigned to the planets in the previous Ayurdayas are not to be used for calculation.

किन्तु लग्न का आयुदाय उदय होने वाले नवांश की राशि-संख्या के बराबर वर्ष, मास आदि में होता है। यदि लग्न बलवान हो, तो वह उतने और वर्ष देता है जितनी राशियाँ लग्न की संख्या में हों। सत्यायुदाय में लग्न में पापी ग्रह की उपस्थिति के कारण होने वाली कटौती नहीं होती। पिछली आयुदाय-पद्धतियों में ग्रहों को आवंटित वर्षों का यहाँ उपयोग नहीं होता।
