In the aforesaid horas in other signs (i.e., in the solar horas of even signs and the lunar horas of odd signs) if malefic and benefic planets are respectively posited at a person's birth, the person concerned will be only (ordinary) middling in the several qualities mentioned already. But if their position be reverse, i.e., if malefics occupy lunar horas in even signs and benefics be in solar horas in odd signs, the persons concerned will be found lacking in the respective qualities mentioned in the previous sloka.

उपर्युक्त होराओं में अन्य राशियों में (अर्थात् सम राशियों की सौर होराओं और विषम राशियों की चान्द्र होराओं में) यदि क्रमशः पाप ग्रह और शुभ ग्रह जन्म-समय में अधिष्ठित हों, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति पहले से उल्लिखित विभिन्न गुणों में केवल (साधारण) मध्यम होगा। किन्तु यदि उनकी स्थिति विपरीत हो, अर्थात् यदि पाप ग्रह सम राशियों में चान्द्र होराओं में और शुभ ग्रह विषम राशियों में सौर होराओं में हों, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्तियों में पूर्व श्लोक में उल्लिखित गुणों का अभाव पाया जाएगा।
