A single planet occupying his highest exaltation point and aspected by friendly planets produces a king (or a leader of men). Such a planet though singly will make the person immensely wealthy if he be also associated with another friendly planet. But when planets are in inimical or depression signs, the persons born under the inauspicious yoga, are (1) without wealth, (2) without comfort, (3) without intellect, (4) sickly, (5) afflicted with captivity, (6) involved in murders and (7) other equally wicked crimes (successively as the number of the badly placed planets rises gradually from 1 to 7).

अपने उच्च बिन्दु में अधिष्ठित और मित्र ग्रहों से दृष्ट एक ग्रह राजा (अथवा मनुष्यों का नेता) उत्पन्न करता है। ऐसा ग्रह यद्यपि एकल हो, यदि किसी मित्र ग्रह से भी सम्बद्ध हो, तो व्यक्ति को अत्यन्त धनवान बनाएगा। किन्तु जब ग्रह शत्रु अथवा नीच राशियों में हों, तो अशुभ योग के अधीन जन्म लेने वाले व्यक्ति होंगे (1) धन-रहित, (2) सुख-रहित, (3) बुद्धि-रहित, (4) रोगी, (5) कारावास से ग्रस्त, (6) हत्या में फँसे और (7) अन्य समान दुष्ट अपराधों में संलग्न (अशुभ स्थित ग्रहों की संख्या 1 से 7 तक क्रमशः बढ़ने पर)।
