If at a person's birth the Moon be in the middle of (5th Navamsa of) sign Dhanus in conjunction with Mars and Saturn or be aspected by them singly or conjointly, he becomes a leper. The same effect will happen if the Moon under the above conjunction or aspect occupy a Navamsa belonging to Pisces, Cancer, Capricorn or Aries. If Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus and Capricorn happen to be the 5th or 9th house from the Lagna and be occupied or aspected by all the malefics (some aspecting and some occupying), the man is sure to be a leper.

यदि किसी व्यक्ति के जन्म पर चन्द्र धनु राशि के मध्य (5वें नवांश) में मंगल और शनि की युति में हो अथवा उनमें से एकल या संयुक्त रूप से दृष्ट हो, तो वह कुष्ठ रोगी बनता है। वही फल तब होगा जब उक्त युति अथवा दृष्टि के अधीन चन्द्र मीन, कर्क, मकर अथवा मेष से सम्बन्धित नवांश में अधिष्ठित हो। यदि वृश्चिक, कर्क, वृष और मकर लग्न से 5वें अथवा 9वें भाव हों और सभी पाप ग्रहों से अधिष्ठित अथवा दृष्ट हों (कुछ दृष्टि करते हुए और कुछ अधिष्ठित), तो व्यक्ति निश्चय ही कुष्ठ रोगी होगा।
