If, at a person's birth, all the malefics are in the 12th, the 5th, the 2nd and the 9th, the man is imprisoned. The kind of restraint employed will correspond to the nature of the rising sign. Again, if the rising decanate at a birth happen to be a Sarpa (serpent), Nigala (fetters) or Ayudha (weapon) Drekkana, and if the sign owning the decanate be also aspected by malefics, the person will suffer imprisonment.

यदि किसी व्यक्ति के जन्म पर सभी पाप ग्रह 12वें, 5वें, 2रे और 9वें भावों में हों, तो व्यक्ति कारावास में होगा। प्रयुक्त बन्धन का प्रकार उदित राशि के स्वभाव के अनुरूप होगा। पुनः, यदि जन्म पर उदित द्रेक्काण सर्प, निगल (बेड़ी) अथवा आयुध (शस्त्र) द्रेक्काण हो, और यदि द्रेक्काण-स्वामी राशि भी पाप ग्रहों से दृष्ट हो, तो व्यक्ति कारावास भोगेगा।
