If at the time of birth either the Ascendant, or the Moon be in Vargottama Navansa and be in aspect to 5, or 6 planets other than the Moon (when the Ascendant being considered) one will become a king in spite of his having taken birth in a mean family.

यदि जन्म-काल में लग्न अथवा चन्द्रमा वर्गोत्तम नवांश में हो और चन्द्रमा को छोड़कर (लग्न-विचार के समय) पाँच अथवा छह ग्रहों की दृष्टि से युक्त हो, तो जातक नीच कुल में जन्म लेकर भी राजा बनता है।
