Ayana Bala. Venus, Mars, the Sun and Jupiter are strong in Uttarayana, while the Moon and Saturn are strong in Dakshinayana. Mercury is strong in both the cases. This is called Ayana Bala.

अयन-बल। शुक्र, मंगल, सूर्य एवं गुरु को उत्तरायण में बल प्राप्त होता है, तथा चन्द्र एवं शनि को दक्षिणायन में बल मिलता है। बुध दोनों ही अयनों में बलवान् होता है। इसी को अयन-बल कहते हैं।
