AMSAYURDAYA CALCULATIONS. The longitudes (counted from Aries first point) of the (seven) planets and the Ascendant should be divided by 200 to get the number of years. The quotients in later processes should be multiplied by the respective multipliers to get months, days and Ghatis.

लग्न व ग्रह जिसकी आयु साधन करनी हो उसकी (ग्रह व लग्न) कला बनाकर २०० का भाग देने से जो लब्धि हो उसकी वर्ष संज्ञा होती है । यदि यह लब्धि १२ से अधिक हो तो बारह का भाग देकर ग्रहण करना चाहिए । शेष को १२ से गुणा करके २०० से भाग देने पर लब्ध मास होता है | पुनः शेप को ३० से गुणा करके २०० से भाग देने पर लब्ध दिन, दि! शेष को ६० से गुणा करके २०० से भाग देने पर लब्धि घटी, चटी शेष को ६० से गुणा करके २०० से भाग देने पर लब्धि पल होता हँ
