If malefics are disposed in Ascendant, 8h, 7th, 6th and 12th, the child dies along with its mother. There is no doubt in it. Should only 6th and a11 be occupied by malefics, the mother does not die, but the child dies. The reverse is true, if malefics are in Ascendant, 8th and 7th.
