If weak Moon be with malefics, mothers death takes place, while the Sun being so causes fathers death. These planets indicate sickness (to the concerned parent), if aspected by both benefics and malefics. Benefics, however, cause auspiciousness.

यदि जन्मकाल में क्षीण चन्द्रमा पापग्रह से युक्त हो व पापग्रह से दृष्ट हो तो माता का मरण होता है । इसी प्रकार सूर्य निर्बल सपाप हो एवं पापग्रह से दुष्ट हो तो पिता का मरण कहना चाहिये । यदि शुभ पाप दोनों से युत हो तो क्लेश कारक, यदि शुभ ग्रह से सूर्य चन्द्रमा दृष्ट हों तो पिता माता को शुभ होता हैं
