If the Moon is in her debilitation Sign identical with the 4th, or Ascendant, the birth is on the ground. The number of attendants can be known by the number of planets posited between the Moon and Lagna. The number of attendants inside the chamber is known by the number of planets posited in the invisible half and the number of attendants outside the chamber will correspond to the number of planets in the visible half. If the concerned planets are benefic, the attendant ladies are with attractive features, beautiful and bedecked with ornaments. Malefics similarly indicate, that such females are ugly, unfortunate and dirty. If the planets are of mixed disposition, but with strength, the attending women are in between the said two accounts. All these should be accordingly understood.

यदि जन्मकाल में चन्द्रमा नीच राशि में होकर चतुर्थ भाव में वा लग्न में स्थित हो तो सूतिका का निवास (शयन) भमि में होता हैं । अब उपसूतिका का ज्ञान बताते हैं । रग्न व चन्द्रमा के मध्य में जितने ग्रह हों उतनी वहाँ उपसूतिका (प्रसव के समय अन्य स्त्री) होती हैं । अनुदित चक्राद्ध (लग्न से सप्तम तक) में जितने ग्रह हों उतनी सहायक (उपसूतिका) स्त्री भीतर और सप्तम से लग्न तक जितने ग्रह हों उतनी उप- सूतिका बाहर में समझना चाहिए । उन ग्रहों में भी जितने शुभ ग्रह हों जिस २ चक्राद्ध में हों उतनी सुलक्षणा सुरूपा, अलंकार युता समझना, क्र्रग्रहों से कुरूपा, कुलक्षणा, मलिना, दुर्भगा स्त्री कहना चाहिए । मिश्र (शुभाशुभ) ग्रह हों तो मध्यम रूप गुणादि से युत, इस प्रकार ग्रहों के बल के आधार पर सब फल कहना चाहिए
