Time of Delivery. If at the time of Nisheka (i.e. Adhana) the Sun is in a Movable Sign, delivery takes place in the 10th month, if he is in a Fixed Sign, delivery in 11th month is indicated and in a Dual Sign it is in 12th month. If a Movable Rasi ascends at Adhana, delivery takes place in 10th month, a Fixed 11th and Dual 12th.

प्रसव-काल का निर्धारण। यदि निषेक (आधान) के समय सूर्य चर राशि में हो, तो दसवें मास में प्रसव होता है; यदि स्थिर राशि में हो, तो ग्यारहवें मास में प्रसव-योग है; और यदि द्विस्वभाव राशि में हो, तो बारहवें मास में प्रसव होता है। यदि आधान-काल में चर राशि लग्न में उदित हो, तो प्रसव दसवें मास में, स्थिर राशि होने पर ग्यारहवें मास में, तथा द्विस्वभाव राशि होने पर बारहवें मास में होता है।
