Whatever effects are declared for men's horoscopes are entirely applicable to women too, or to their husband. Her prosperity and happiness have to be deduced from the 8th place (from the Lagna or the Moon whichever is stronger). Children should be declared through the 9th house and matters relating to her appearance, beauty, etc., should be determined from the Lagna. It is from the 7th place that her welfare (power of influencing her husband) and the (nature of the) husband should be ascertained, while her association and chastity should be predicted from an examination of the 4th house. Benefics in these houses produce good results while malefics in the above houses are productive of evil unless they happen to own the houses, in which case the effect will be good.

जिन योगों का फल पुरुषों की कुण्डली में बताया गया है उनके फल स्त्रियों की कुण्डली में भी बताने चाहिये। जहाँ राजयोग आदि का फल स्त्री की कुण्डली में घटित होने की सम्भावना न हो (क्योंकि जो स्त्रियाँ स्वयं नौकरी या व्यापार नहीं करतीं वे उच्चाधिकारिणी कैसे हो सकती हैं?) वहाँ वे योग उन स्त्रियों के पति में घटित होंगे। इसी प्रकार जहाँ एक पुरुष के अनेक विवाह का योग हो — वैसा ही योग स्त्री की कुण्डली में हो किन्तु स्त्री ऐसे समाज की हो जहाँ अनेक विवाह की सम्भावना न हो, तो वे योग भी स्त्रियों की कुण्डली में घटित नहीं होंगे। स्त्री की कुण्डली में अष्टम स्थान से माङ्गल्य (सुहागपन), नवम से पुत्र (सन्तान), और लग्न से शरीर-सौन्दर्य का विचार करें। पति तथा सुभगत्व का विचार सातवें घर से, और संग (अन्य लोगों से समागम) तथा सतीत्व का विचार चतुर्थ से। यदि शुभ ग्रह इन गृहों में होंगे तो शुभ फल करेंगे; अशुभ ग्रह बैठे होंगे तो अशुभ फल करेंगे — किन्तु अशुभ (क्रूर) ग्रह भी यदि वहाँ स्वराशि का होगा तो अच्छा ही फल करेगा, अनिष्ट फल नहीं करेगा।
