If at the birth of a person, the sign Vrishabha be rising, he will have plump thighs and a big face; he will be engaged in agriculture. He will be happy in the middle and concluding portions of his life. He will be fond of young women, will be liberal in gifts, will be of a forgiving disposition, will endure hardships, possess cattle, etc., and will have marks or moles on the back, face and sides.

यदि जातक का वृष लग्न हो या जन्म के समय चन्द्रमा वृष राशि में हो तो चेहरा और जाँघें बड़ी होती हैं। जातक कृषि-कर्म करने वाला होता है। यदि उसके जीवन को तीन भागों में बाँटा जाय तो अन्तिम दो भाग सुख से व्यतीत होते हैं। ऐसा व्यक्ति प्रमदा-प्रिय (स्त्रियों का शौकीन), त्यागी, क्षमावान्, क्लेश सहने वाला (परिश्रमी) होता है। ऐसे व्यक्ति गो-धन (गाय, बैल आदि) से युक्त होते हैं। किन्तु जातक के पीठ में, चेहरे पर, या बगल में निशान होता है — मस्से, लहसन का, या व्रण का।
