If Jupiter and the lords of the 5th house reckoned from the Lagna and the Moon be well-placed, and the 5th house has on it the aspect of a benefic planet or of one owning an auspicious house (i.e., other than the 6th, 8th and 12th), or if the lords of the Lagna and the 5th house be posited together in a house or have mutual benefic aspect or occupy each other's places, the acquisition of children is assured.

यदि लग्न से पाँचवें भाव का स्वामी, चन्द्रमा से पाँचवें स्थान का स्वामी और बृहस्पति अच्छे स्थानों में बैठे हों और पंचम भाव पर पंचमेश की तथा शुभ-ग्रहों की दृष्टि हो तथा चतुर्थ, नवम, आदि के शुभ ग्रह स्वामियों की दृष्टि हो और छठे, आठवें, बारहवें घर के स्वामी की दृष्टि पाँचवें घर पर न हो और लग्नेश, पंचमेश एक साथ बैठे हों या एक दूसरे के घर में बैठे हों या लग्नेश, पंचमेश में परस्पर मित्र दृष्टि हो तो पुत्रसिद्धि होती है। अर्थात्‌ यह सब योग पुत्रकारक हैं।
