When Saturn goes to the house occupied by the lord of the decanate of the 8th house from the Lagna, death may happen. The same event may be expected when Saturn passes through the Rasi owning the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 8th house.

(१) लग्न से गिनने पर अष्टम भाव मध्य पर जो द्रेष्काण हो, उस द्रेष्काण का स्वामी जन्म-कुण्डली में जहाँ बैठा है उस राशि में गोचरवश जब शनि आवे, तो जातक की मृत्यु हो सकती है। (२) जन्म-लग्न से अष्टमेश जिस नवांश में हो उस नवांश-राशि में भी जब शनि गोचरवश भ्रमण करे, तो मृत्यु कर सकता है।
