Subtract the figures for Saturn from those of Mandi and find out the Rasi and its Navamsa indicated by the difference. When Saturn arrives at this Navamsa or the Rasi thus found or their triangular position, death will take place. The same event may also happen when Saturn arrives at the particular Drekkana of the particular Rasi indicated by the aggregate of the figures of the five Upagrahas reckoned from Dhuma.

(१) मान्दि-स्पष्ट में से शनि-स्पष्ट घटाइये, जो शेष बचे उस पर या उससे नवम-पंचम जब गोचरवश शनि आवे, तो जातक की मृत्यु होती है। (२) धूम आदि पाँचों उपग्रहों को जोड़िये। जोड़ने से जो राशि और द्रेष्काण आवे उस पर जब गोचरवश शनि आता है, तो जातक की मृत्यु हो सकती है।
