If Venus and the Moon are in opposition to Mars and Saturn in any nativity, the person concerned will be either wifeless or issueless; when there is a hermaphrodite planet in the 7th house and the 11th house is occupied by two planets, the person will have two wives. If the lord of the 7th house and Venus be each posited in a dual Rasi or Amsa, the person will have two wives. Generally one ought to predict the number of wives in such cases by the number of the planets in conjunction with those two, viz., the lord of the 7th and Venus.

यदि शुक्र और चन्द्रमा से सप्तम मंगल और शनि हों तो स्त्री-हीन हो। यदि सप्तम में नपुंसक ग्रह हो और ग्यारहवें घर में दो ग्रह हों तो जातक के दो स्त्री हों। यदि शुक्र और सप्तमेश दोनों द्वन्द्व राशि और अंश में हों तो जातक के दो स्त्री हों। सप्तमेश और शुक्र जितने ग्रहों से युक्त हों उतनी ही स्त्रियों की प्राप्ति कहना।
