When Venus occupies Vrischika identical with the 7th house, the wife of the person born will die. The same will be the effect when Mercury is in Vrishabha identical with the 7th house, or when Jupiter occupies the 7th and is in depression, or when Saturn or Mars is posited in Meena identical with the 7th house. If Saturn and Mars are in the 7th house identical with Karkataka, the wife of the person concerned will be chaste, fortunate and beautiful.

(क) यदि वृश्चिक राशि का शुक्र सप्तम में हो, या (ख) वृष राशि का बुध सप्तम में हो, या (ग) मकर राशि का बृहस्पति सप्तम में हो, या (घ) मीन राशि का शनि सप्तम में हो, या (ङ) मीन राशि का मंगल सप्तम में हो — इन योगों में से कोई भी योग हो तो पत्नी की मृत्यु हो जाती है। यदि कर्क राशि सप्तम में हो और उसमें मंगल तथा शनि हों तो उस मनुष्य की सुन्दर और सच्चरित्र पत्नी होगी।
