The direction of the country of the wife will be that signified by the Rasi owned by the strongest of the three planets, viz., (1) occupying 7th house, (2) owning the 7th house and (3) Venus. The marriage may be expected to come off when Venus or the lord of the 7th house in his orbit passes through a Sign which is triangular to the Rasi or Navamsa occupied by the Lord of the Lagna.

पुरुष की कुंडली में यह देखिये कि (१) सप्तम भाव में कौन-सी राशि है, (२) सप्तमेश किस राशि में है, (३) शुक्र किस राशि में है। इन तीनों राशियों में से किसी राशि की दिशा में विवाह होगा अर्थात् उस दिशा में रहने वाली लड़की से विवाह होगा। लग्नेश जिस राशि या नवांश में हो — उससे त्रिकोण-राशि में जब गोचर-वश शुक्र या सप्तमेश आता है तब विवाह होता है।
