If the 5th and the 7th house reckoned either from the Lagna or the Moon be occupied or aspected by the lord of the 9th house, or by benefics or their own lords, then there is good for the two Bhavas; otherwise not, i.e., the Bhavas will not bear fruit. If malefic planets are posited (1) in the 12th, 4th and 8th houses counted from Venus, or if Venus be hemmed in between two malefics, or if Venus be aspected by or conjoined with malefics, there is loss of wife.

यदि लग्न से पाँचवाँ और सातवाँ स्थान शुभ ग्रह या अपने स्वामी से युत या दृष्ट हो और चन्द्रमा से पंचम तथा सप्तम स्थान अपने स्वामी या शुभ ग्रह से युत या वीक्षित (देखा जाता) हो तो पाँचवें तथा सातवें भाव-सम्बन्धी सिद्धि (उत्तम फल-प्राप्ति) होती है। यदि ऐसा न हो तो विपरीत फल समझना। (क) शुक्र यदि पाप-ग्रहों के बीच में हो, या (ख) शुक्र से चतुर्थ, अष्टम, द्वादश पाप-ग्रह हों, या (ग) शुक्र यदि पाप-ग्रहों से युत या दृष्ट हो — इन तीनों योगों का फल यह है कि जिस पुरुष की कुंडली में यह योग हो उसकी स्त्री की मृत्यु हो जाती है। जितने ही दुर्योग अधिक होंगे उतना ही दुष्प्रभाव अधिक होगा।
