During the Sun's transit, the 27 stars reckoned from the Janma-nakṣatra will be distributed thus: (a) 1st star — face; (b) 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th — head; (c) 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th — breast (chest); (d) 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th — right hand; (e) 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th — two feet; (f) 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd — left hand; (g) 24th and 25th — the two eyes; (h) 26th and 27th — organs of generation. When the Sun transits through these limbs, the effect will be (a) destruction (b) influx of wealth (c) success (d) financial gain (e) loss of wealth (f) bodily illness (g) gain and (h) danger to life respectively.

जन्मकालीन चन्द्र-नक्षत्र से गिनने पर गोचर द्वारा भिन्न-भिन्न नक्षत्रों में सूर्य के भ्रमण को काल-पुरुष के भिन्न-भिन्न अंगों में भ्रमण माना गया है। इसका विवरण निम्नलिखित है: (क) प्रथम नक्षत्र में चेहरे पर। (ख) २, ३, ४ और ५वें नक्षत्र में सिर में। (ग) ६, ७, ८, ९ में छाती में। (घ) १०, ११, १२, १३ दाहिनी बाहु में। (ङ) १४, १५, १६, १७, १८ तथा १९वें नक्षत्र में दोनों पैर में। (च) २०, २१, २२, २३वें नक्षत्र में बायीं बाँह में। (छ) २४ तथा २५वें नक्षत्र में दोनों नेत्रों में। (ज) २६ तथा २७वें नक्षत्र में गुह्य अंग में भ्रमण करता है। इनका प्रभाव क्रमशः निम्नलिखित है: (क) नाश, (ख) विभूति, (ग) विजय, (घ) धन, (ङ) निर्धनता, (च) देह-पीड़ा, (छ) लाभ और (ज) मृत्यु।
