शुभाः प्रयच्छन्त्यशुभानि सर्वे ।

यदि शुभ-ग्रह नीच-राशि में, शत्रु-राशि में, छठे या बारहवें बैठे हों तो यह सब अशुभ फल दिखाते हैं — और यदि जो शुभ नहीं है अर्थात् पाप-ग्रह अपनी नीच राशि में, शत्रु-राशि में, छठे या बारहवें बैठे हों तो वे क्या फल दिखावेंगे? वे अपनी दशा में अमोघ दुःख दिखाते हैं। अमोघ कहते हैं ऐसे कष्ट को जो निश्चय ही होता है और जिससे छुटकारा पाना सम्भव न हो।
