The effects of the Dasa periods of planets that are retrograde or that occupy their own, exaltation or friendly houses or are placed in good houses (position other than the 6th, the 8th or the 12th) will be as those described so far. I shall now set forth the effects of the Dasas of planets occupying inimical or depression houses, or that have been eclipsed (become invisible) or that happen to be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th house.

ऊपर जो श्लोक २ से १३ तक फल बताये हैं वह शुभ फल तभी होते हैं जब भावेश उत्तम स्थान में बैठा हो, अपनी राशि या उच्च राशि में हो, या वक्री हो। यदि ग्रह शत्रु राशि में हो, नीच राशि में हो, अस्त हो, या ६, ८, १२ इन दुःस्थानों में से किसी में हो तो ऐसे ग्रह की दशा में अनिष्ट फल होता है। संक्षेप में यह याद रखना चाहिये कि कोई भी भावेश सुधरा हो तो शुभ फल देता है और कोई भी भावेश बिगड़ा हो तो अशुभ फल देता है। कौन सा भावेश बिगड़ने पर क्या अशुभ फल देता है यह नीचे बताते हैं।
