Examine the strength of the Rasi as well as the amsa occupied by the Sun. Find the stronger of these two. When the Sun occupies a Kona position from thence, the father's death may be expected. By a similar process ascertain whether the Rasi or the amsa occupied by the Moon is stronger. The mother's death may be predicted with reference thereto, i.e. when the Sun passes through the Kona of the amsa or Rasi that is stronger.
