If the lord of the 2nd bhava being in conjunction with the lord of the 1st, occupy a Dusthana (6th, 8th or 12th bhavas), it will result in loss of sight. If the lord of the eye, i.e. the 2nd bhava being in conjunction with Venus and the Moon occupy the 1st bhava, the person concerned will be night-blind; but if the lord of the eye occupy a position of exaltation or be in conjunction with a benefic planet, no such malefic effect will happen, say the astrologers.
