The maximum number of Pindayurdaya years assigned to the Sun and other planets in their highest exaltation point are respectively 19, 25, 15, 12, 15, 21 and 60. But if the exaltation point minus the planet's position should exceed 6 signs, keep it as it is; reducing the same to minutes, multiply this by the planet's years. Divide the product by 21,600. The quotient represented by years, months, days etc., is called the Pindayus of the planet.
