UNFAVOURABLE DAŚĀS: The Daśā of the lord of the 3rd, 6th and 11th, of the planets posited in them and of the planets in conjunction with the above, will prove unfavourable. The Daśā of the planets associated with the lords of māraka houses, namely the 2nd and 7th, in the 2nd or 7th, and of the planet posited in the 8th, will produce unfavourable effects. Thus the Daśās should be considered favourable after taking into account the placement of a planet and the relationship of one planet with the other.
