There will be loss of friends at the commencement, good effects during the middle part and distress at the end of the Dasa. In addition to other evil effects, there will be separation from parents and wandering, if Saturn be in his sign of debilitation. If Saturn be the lord of the 2nd or 7th, there will be danger of premature death. Giving in charity black cow, buffalo, goat, and Mrityunjaya Japa, are the remedial measures for obtaining relief from the evil effects of the Antardasa. These measures help to achieve happiness and gain of wealth and property.

(i) यदि शनि सूर्य से 8, 12 में हो या पापयुक्त हो तो वातरोग, जोड़ों की बीमारी, बड़ा रोग, बुखार, पेचिश आदि होते हैं । साथ ही बन्धन, कार्यनाश, धननाश व भय का कारण उपस्थित होता है । अचानक कलह, साझेदारों-हिस्सेदारों से विवाद होता है । (ii) अन्तर्दशा के प्रारम्भ में मित्रों की हानि, मध्य में साधारण सुख तथा अन्त में क्लेशदायक होता है । नीचगत शनि का भी यही फल समझें । (iii) नीचगत शनि होने पर माता-पिता का वियोग, अधिक भागदौड़ या यात्रा होती है । (iv) यदि शनि 2, 7 भावेश हो तो अपमृत्यु भय होता है । इसकी शान्ति के लिए काली गाय या भैंस का दान करें, मृत्युंजय मन्त्र का जप करें और भेड़ या बकरी का दान करें तो सब प्रकार से सुख होता है ।
