Acquisition of a kingdom (attainment of a high position in government), comforts of conveyance like palaquin (motor car in the present times), gain of position etc., will result if Jupiter be the lord of the 9th or 10th. Better fortune, charities, religious inclinations, worship of deities, devotion to preceptor, fulfilment of ambitions will be the auspicious effects, if Jupiter be well placed with reference to the lord of the Dasa (the Sun).

नरवाहनयोगश्च स्थानाधिक्यं महत्सुखम्‌ । सूर्य महादशा में गुरु की अन्तर्दशा हो तथा गुरु लग्न से केन्द्र त्रिकोण में हो, स्वोच्च, स्वक्षेत्री या मित्रवर्গগत हो तो विवाह व राजा के साथ भेंटवार्ता होती है । इस दशा में धन-धान्य का लाभ, पुत्र लाभ, खूब सुख, बड़े लोगों की सहायता से इष्ट सिद्धि, ब्राह्मणों व सज्जनों द्वारा सम्मान, अभीष्ट वस्त्रादि की प्राप्ति होती है । यदि गुरु 9, 10 भावेश हो या इन भावेशों से सम्बन्ध करे तो राज्यलाभ, प्रतिष्ठित नरवाहन, पद-स्थान वृद्धि, अपूर्व सुख होता है ।
