Destruction of wealth by the displeasure of the King (government) will be the effect if Mars be in his sign of debilitation or be weak. Diseases of the mind and body will result if Mars be the lord of the 2nd or 7th. Recovery from ill health, increase in longevity and success in adventures are possible if remedial measures like recitation of Vedas, Japa, Vratashotsarga are performed in the prescribed manner.

(i) महादशेश से 8, 12 भाव में मंगल हो या मंगल पापदृष्ट या युक्त हो या निर्बल हो तो क्रूर बुद्धि का उदय, कारागृहवास, बन्धुओं का नाश, भाइयों से वैर, कार्यहानि होती है । (ii) यदि मंगल बलहीन या नीचगत हो तो राजकोप से धनहानि, 2, 7 भावेश हो तो शरीर में जड़ता, मनोविकार, शरीरकष्ट होता है । (iii) इसकी शान्ति के लिए वेदपाठ, जप, दान, सौँड छोड़ना आदि शान्ति कार्य करने चाहिए, इससे आयु व स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा होती है ।
