After ascertaining the effects of the years, months etc. in accordance with the Sudarśana Chakra, assessment of effects for the years, months etc. should be made on the basis of the Ashtakavarga. The benefic or malefic effects will be full if the assessment from both produces the same results. If they are different, the comparative strength of both should be taken into account to decide the final results.

एवं प्रत्यब्दमासादौ भावानां फलचिन्तनम्‌ । द्वादशानां दशावृत्या दशाश्चायुषि चिन्तयेत्‌ । ।27।। इस प्रकार प्रत्येक वर्ष का फल सुदर्शन चक्र से देखें । बारहों भावों की दस आवृत्ति से सम्पूर्ण आयु वर्ष 120 वर्ष पूर्ण हो जाते हैं ।
