If amongst the Ascendant and the Moon, one be in an even sign and the other be in an odd one, the woman concerned should be declared to partake the characteristics of both male and female. The qualities of the Ascendant or the Moon will be more predominant according to their strength.

पापयुक्त रहने पर प्रायः स्त्रियोचित गुणों से रहित होती है। यदि मिश्र ग्रहों (शुभाशुभ) से युक्त या दृष्ट लग्न चन्द्र हैं तो मिश्रित स्वभाव वाली होती है। लग्न व चन्द्रमा में से जो अधिक बलवान् हो, उसी के अनुसार विशेष फल कहना चाहिए।
