Multiply the Yoga Pinda by the number of rekhas in the Ashtakavarga and divide the product by 27. The death of the native will take place when Saturn passes in transit through the nakshatra denoted by the remainder or its trikona nakshatras. Again divide the product by 12. The native will face danger of death when Saturn passes in transit through the rasi denoted by the remainder or through its trikona rasis.

द्वयोर्योगसमे वर्षे कष्टं मृत्युसमं दिशेत्‌ । दशारिष्टसमायोगे मृत्युरेव न संशयः । । 42 । । दोनों प्रकार से प्राप्त आयु वर्षों के योग के बराबर आयु वर्ष में मृत्यु तुल्य कष्ट होता है । उस समय दशान्तर्दशा से भी मारक विचार पुष्ट होता हो तो मृत्यु की सम्भावनाएं अधिक बलवती हो जाती हैं ।
