SAPTAVARGAJA BALA AND IṢṬA-KAṢṬA (continued): The various strengths (i.e. the other 6 vargas vide ślokas 7-9 supra) be multiplied by the respective planet's Ṣaḍbala-piṇḍa which will indicate the auspiciousness of the varga concerned. Auspicious or inauspicious aspect will be obtained by multiplying the Śubha- or Aśubha-paṅkti. Similarly auspicious or inauspicious effects will be known by multiplying the auspicious or inauspicious strength by the respective paṅkti.

इष्ट-कष्ट या शुभाशुभ का स्पष्टीकरण: पूर्व-आगत गृह व होरादि के शुभ-बल अशुभ-बल को अलग-अलग, उनके स्वामियों के शुभाशुभ से गुणा कर षड्बलैक्य का भाग देने से लब्धि शुभ या अशुभ स्पष्ट होती है। अपने-अपने शुभाशुभ फल से दृष्टि को गुणा करने से शुभाशुभ-दृष्टि व बल से गुणा करने से शुभाशुभ-बल होता है।
