LEPROSY: Mars or Mercury having ownership of the ascending sign and joining the Moon, Rāhu and Saturn, will cause leprosy. If the Moon is in the ascendant which is not however Cancer and be with Rāhu, there will occur white leprosy. Saturn in place of Rāhu will cause black leprosy while Mars similarly will afflict one with blood-leprosy.

गण्डादि-रोग-योग: यदि लग्न में षष्ठेश व अष्टमेश सूर्य के साथ हो — तो जातक को बार-बार ज्वर होता है। यदि मंगल के साथ हो — तो गाँठ या शस्त्र की चोट का घाव होता है। यदि 6.8 भावेश लग्न में बुध के साथ हो — पित्त-रोग; गुरु के साथ हो — रोग का अभाव (अथवा पाठान्तर से ओव या दस्त आदि) होता है।
