English
The lord of the eighth is not auspicious, because the eighth is the twelfth from the ninth — the house of fortune. If the lord of the eighth also rules the third, the sixth, or the eleventh, he proves specifically harmful. But if he also rules a trikon, he gives good fruit.

भाग्य स्थान का व्यय स्थान होने से अष्टमेश शुभ फल नहीं देता। उसकी दूसरी राशि यदि शुभ स्थानों में पड़े तो वह भी स्थानान्तर के प्रभाव से प्रायः शुभ हो जाता है। सूर्य व चन्द्रमा की एक राशि होने से यदि इनमें अष्टमेश पड़े तो इन्हें विशेष पापी नहीं माना जाता है।
