Remedial measures: To obtain relief from the evil effects of the above yogas the remedial measures are — (1) to observe Chandrayana fast and to do penance three times and (2) to give in charity a cow and five gems with gold after feeding Brahmins according to one's means and giving them presents in cash (dakṣiṇā). Then the person will be released from the curse and will be endowed with happiness after performing the above remedial measures.
