काकबन्ध्या-योग: यदि पञ्चमेश षष्ठ-स्थान में हो, लग्नेश किसी भी भाव में मंगल से युक्त हो — तो जातक की पहली सन्तान मर जाती है, तथा बाद में जातक पुरुष हो तो उसकी पत्नी, स्त्री हो तो स्वयं — आगे गर्भ धारण नहीं करती। जिसे एक बार ही जीवन में गर्भ-धारण हो वह काकबन्ध्या, तथा कभी गर्भ न हो तो वन्ध्या होती है। यदि पञ्चमेश नीच-स्थान में गया हो और 6.8.12 भाव में स्थित हो, और पञ्चम में केतु-बुध हो — तो काकबन्ध्या-योग होता है। पञ्चमेश नीच-राशि में हो और पञ्चम को न देखे, एवं पञ्चम-भाव में बुध-शनि हो — तो काकबन्ध्या-योग होता है।
