दत्तकादि पुत्र-योग: यदि पञ्चम-भाव में मिथुन, कन्या, मकर, कुम्भ राशि में शनि व मान्दि (गुलिक) की दृष्टि या योग हो — तो जातक का दत्तक या कृत्रिम, स्वीकृत पुत्र होता है, अपनी पत्नी से उत्पन्न पुत्र नहीं होता। यदि पञ्चम-भाव में छह ग्रह हों, तथा पञ्चमेश व्यय-भाव में स्थित हो, लग्नेश व चन्द्र बली हो — तो जातक का गोद लिया पुत्र होता है।
