Distress to the body, agony, failure in ventures, possibilities of suffering from troubles in the forehead, fever, dysentry etc., will be the effects, if the Sun be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th from the lord of the Dasa (Mars) or be associated with malefics.

यदि सूर्य महादशेश मंगल से 6, 8, 12 मे हो या पापयुक्त हो तो शरीर व मन में कष्ट, कार्य में हानि, भय, सिर के रोग, ज्वरादि भय, अतिसार भय होता है । यदि सूर्य 2, 7 भावेश हो तो पुत्र पीडा, सर्पभय, रोगभय, विषभय होता है । इसकी विधिवत् शान्ति करनी चाहिए । शान्त्यर्थ सूर्य की उपासना, विष्णु या राम की अर्चना आदि करनी चाहिए, तब स्वास्थ्य रक्षा व धन-धान्य की सुरक्षा होती है ।
