Danger from thieves, snakes, wrath of the king (government), bilious diseases, oppression by goblins, loss of servants and co-borns, will be evil effects, if Jupiter be in the 6th, the 8th or the 12th, or be in his sign of debilitation, be associated with or aspected by malefics or be otherwise weak. There will be suffering from fever or danger of premature death if Jupiter be the lord of the 2nd. The remedial measure to be adopted to combat the above evil effects is recitation of Shiva Sahasranam.

यदि बृहस्पति 6, 8, 12 मे या नीचगत या अस्तंगत या पापयुक्त दृष्ट या निर्बल हो तो चोरभय, राजभय, सर्पादिभय, पित्तजन्य रोगों की वृदिध, परतादि बाधा, सेवकों, कर्मचारियों की हानि, भार्या को कष्ट होता है । यदि गुरु 2, 7 भावेश हो तो अपमृत्यु व ज्वरादि रोगों से पीडा होती है । इसकी शान्ति के लिए शिवसहस्रनाम का पाठ करना चाहिए ।
